Artist Bio:
SUMMER BRADDOCK: Born with a rare disorder, Summer has let nothing stop her from achieving life's goals. With very little use of her arms and legs, she's had to adapt from an early age with how to do everyday tasks. In Kindergarten, she taught herself how to write using a pencil with her mouth. Shortly after, she began drawing and then painting. Taking classes throughout the years, Summer developed a love and appreciation for all things art and began painting in her spare time. With a Masters degree in clinical psychology and after years of struggling to find employment, she decided to pursue her dream of being an artist painting 5-6 commissioned pieces a year. Always perfecting her style, it’s because of those who purchase her work that she’s able to buy more supplies and continue to create art. She loves painting florals and still life, using all types of media- including acrylic, oil, and watercolor. Her work can be viewed and purchased from paintingsbysummer.com
